The first issue of the thirteenth volume of the journal SOCIETAS ET IURISPRUDENTIA offers a total of three separate scientific studies. The very first study offers readers a very comprehensive and detailed view of the key and extremely topical issues of the legal regulation of the statute of limitations in the law of obligations, focusing on the analysis of the latest amendments to the Macedonian Law on Obligatory Relations and related decisions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia. The following study presents a comprehensive legal analysis of the issue of increasing the flexibility of employment relations in the new labour law regulation of the probationary period in the legal system of the Czech Republic and its comparison with the current legal regulation in the labour law of the Slovak Republic. The third and final study brings a systematic and in-depth analysis of the current situation and the future direction of the issue of employee rights resulting from the European Union directives and their enforceability in the private sector in the Czech Republic.
