The third issue of the thirteenth volume of the journal SOCIETAS ET IURISPRUDENTIA offers a total of two separate scientific stu¬dies. The very first study offers readers a comprehensive legal analysis of the issue of legal forms of children’s participation in non-contentious civil proceedings from the perspective of the Polish legal system. The second and final study examines, analyses in detail, and compares the legal regulation of the participation of lay judges in labour disputes in the historical context of the Czech and the German legal traditions.
